July 13, 2009 marks the one year anniversary of our call to serve as your Relief Society presidency. It has been an abundant year of events, personal and collective learning, and tender experiences. At this anniversary milestone, I wish to ‘account’ at a high level, the past year. No matter our calling, and because all things belong to the Lord…” we will be required to give an accounting of our stewardship (D&C 72:3). This is the “State of Relief Society” message.

Relief Society membership is 175 sisters
20 Sisters move out
22 Sisters move in
6 babies born (and 5 on the way)
4 funerals (3 sisters)
23 hospital stays
~12 temple and cannery assignments
57 sisters who serve in Primary and
37 sisters who have or currently serve on our Relief Society board. 1600+ visiting teaching experiences
3 amazing enrichment events and several activities
~116 hymns, 88 prayers, 22 Joseph Smith Lessons, 12 conference talks, 8 messages from the Relief Society presidency, and many testimonies.
