On Tuesday, May 12th, we had a wonderful evening of gardening tips and yummy treats. J&L Garden center sent one of their best gardening specialists to teach us about the importance of preparing soil before planting, planting vegetables and flowers and container gardening.
We learned that you can plant a salsa container with everything you need to make fresh salsa. What a great idea! We look forward to August when we will have a chance to visit some beautiful gardens in our ward. We hope everyone has a bountiful harvest this fall!
The Early Bird prize was full of gardening supplies and won by Diane B.
Tasty and healthy treats were a big hit with everyone! The food committee really outdid themselves this time!
