On February 11th the Relief Society Board had a wonderful evening with the Laurels, their mothers and Young Women leaders. We wanted to get to know the Laurels who will be joining us in Relief Society in the next two years and help them "Bee One" with the relief society sisters in our ward. We started out with a tasty meal of taco salads and cookies and icecream for dessert.
To get to know the Laurels better, we mixed up the seating arrangments so the mother's and daughter's weren't sitting by each other. We all got to know each other better this way.
After we ate we played a game called two truths and a lie. It was hard for some to come up with a lie about themselves...for others it was hard to come up with two truths!
We all had a great laugh at some of the lies and some of the truths, such as..."I am my parents first and second child"! That one stumped all of us! To find out the answer, ask one of the Laurels that was at the dinner! We want to say a BIG thank you to Misty and her enrichmnet commitee for a wonderful evening! We look forward to these amazing Laurels joining us. They will be an awesome addition to our relief society.
