72 Hour Kits

Bishop Pitt has asked that each of us check on those we visiting teach, to make sure they have a 72 hour emergency kit ready for their families. In light of the past events around the world, we are again reminded how important it is to have emergency kits and our food storage ready and up to date. The church has wonderful programs to help you get started if you have not begun already. Check the churches website at lds.org for ideas on how to get started. We have been counceled many times by our prophets to be prepared for emergencies whether natural disaster, loss of employement or power outages. Remember "it wasn't raining when Noah built the ark" and "if ye are prepared, ye shall not fear."
