On March 10th, we had a wonderful evening with guest speakers President Randy Lewis and his wife. They talked about their amazing experiences in Alaska and how important each of us are to the "workings" of the church. Even in such a desolate place as some parts of Alaska, the sisters in the Relief Society do their visiting teaching, take care of the needs of the members of their wards or branches and even make sure that any "Road Kill" is distributed to those in need. (remember that the road kill in Alaska is usually moose, bear, elk and other large animals and because it's so cold the meat doesn't spoil right away)
After listening to President and Sister Lewis and hearing a beautiful musical number by Stephanie M., we all adjourned to the cultural hall for a chocolate buffet. As you will see by the pictures it was the perfect ending to a perfect evening. A big THANK YOU to our fantastic Enrichment Committee for another exceptional evening.
